Developing a mindful lifestyle takes practise, time and patience. Old habits must be softened and replaced with new ways of thinking.
Neuro research has shown us our brain needs about 30 days to adjust to a habit change. This is the goal behind our "A Month of Mindfulness" products. This book is similar to our challenge cards but in the book there is a little more detail and the tasks are a little defined and developed.
The book is a very rustic, handmade design with its wooden cover and simple binding. This is to complement the product and the idea of mindfulness itself. Not all books are mass produced on large printing presses. Some, like this one is mostly hand made. Every time you use this book the handmade nature of it will serve as a reminder to be in the moment and appreciate the real nature of things. Don't just take for granted that books (and other things) are there but try think about how and why they are there.
The exercises are oriented so that they are easy to carry out even on the busiest days. Most exercises can be performed anywhere and at any time, often without other people knowing about it. If you practise these mindfulness tasks every day, you'll hopefully go a little more mindful through life. We wish you much luck & joy!
